Welcome to the 4th generation of Pokémon; Diamond and Pearl! They both bring back many features from past games, like the day / night system from Gold, Silver, and Crystal. Also brought back from the GSC line, is the real time clock feature, which was removed in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald!

But the games also come with a plethora of new features! (And Pokémon!) Diamond and Pearl brings 107 new Pokémon into the battling fray, which include evolutions of older Pokémon, like Magmortar, and Porygon-Z!
Some of the new features are Wi-Fi connectivity, Touch Screen support, importing Pokémon from older games, and a completely revamped battle system!

Pokémon Diamond and Pearl both occur in the Sinnoh region, where Team Galactic is causing havoc. During your travels through Sinnoh, you'll face eight Gyms, each of which is based around a particular type of Pokémon. You'll also encounter two rival trainers, who will put your skills to the test.

One of the exciting features of Nintendo Wi-Fi connection support is online trades. By sharing a automatically generated Friend Code, you can battle and trade with your friends. Also, if you're seeking a particular Pokémon you can't get from a friend, you can use the Global Trade Station (GTS).

All in all, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl are the games Pokéfans have been waiting for, and will surely keep you occupied!
