The DSi
My only answer to this is, um,...why ? it seems to me all it is, is a smaller DS LITE with a built in camera and music capabilities, not that a card couldn't do that already. Nintendo is going a little too PSP with it, the only thing I like about it is the slightly bigger screens. And a lot of people, I feel, aren't gonna have incentive to buy it, because they either have a DS, or DS LITE, or both, and with another DS system coming out... oy ! What do you all think about it?

Nintendo is doing because it will bring upon profit. As long as it's good quility, and has some new features 'n' stuff, Nintendo will make a whole ton of money.

Re: The DSi
I guess, but I mean, they're kinda stealing ideas now, where once they were the spark of ideas, I just hate to see them go that way, though I guess there are no other options, nothing is truly original anymore. The title stolen from "i"pod, music and internet stuff, PSP, if only they coulda beaten them. I do like the camrea thing however, but not the fact that it cannot any longer support GBA games.

Perhaps we just have an allotted amount of ideas? There are only so many new, original ideas in the art of gaming, I find.
The fact that it doesn't except GBA games is really disappointing to me. I mean, substitute the entire usage of a particular gaming console just to make it 'more thin'? Stupid, just stupid.

Re: The DSi
I have to agree, the DSi doesn't seem that good, but what makes me want one is the DSiWare. If it weren't for DSiWare, I wouldn't like it at all.

instead of a built in camera couldn't they of just made a camera application like the gameboy(can't remeber if it was the classic GB or the Color GB) had and make it a seperate device...i'd rather spend like 30-50$ dollars for a camera than 100-200$ for a whole new DS...

That I agree with. For the price they charge for a DSi, I could get a digital camera, with more megapixels at that.
